I was given a 4 ton Walker Floor Jack by a friend. It needs a little TLC and a few replacement parts. I found a company that has most of the parts. I am currently trying to take the handle off. It has a rod running through it with a cap on tow that is used to turn the release valve. The cap has a little push pin with a detent. I was told that this pin needed to be reomved in order to take off the cap in order to remove the handle. I proceeded to break the pin trying to remove it. Once it was remove the @@##@!$$%% cap still wont come off. I cannot for the life of me find anything holding it. I can only accume it is a press or expansion fit. How in the #$#$%^^@@ does it come off????? HELP please.

Don't know about your Walker, but I have an old Nike jack.{ same vintage as yours} The valve release shaft will come apart at the bottom of the handle and let you remove the handle that way. Good luck
