A canopy is well worth having if you live and work in a sunny climate. It makes a huge difference for me. I can stand lots of heat, but I cannot stand the sun beating down on me. With the canopy, I can work all day in 95+ days, as long as I keep on drinking water, and have that canopy. I have had 3 tractors with canopy, and 2 without.. I can tell you the canopy is way more comfortable.

BUT rear remotes are very valuable too. I could really use the chainsaw too..:)

Throw a few $s at a fire extinguisher for the tractor (easy to attach/strap onto the ROPS). Heck, get one for the vehicle, shop & house too... they're not that expensive.

I agree plus Boxblade and you know you'll need fluid and filters which I doubt would be an issue with time till you use them.

Great idea, Have had one strapped to the ROPS of both tractors I have owned. Thankfully never needed them, but a must have IMO.

I wouldn't worry about oil going bad. If you have a place to store it so it is out of the weather, then go ahead and get your supply of hydraulic oil & filter, fuel filters, engine oil filters, air filter etc. I would get at least 2 of everything. Prices are going to go up so get some now. Mark them when you get them so you know what is what when you need them later it may be difficult to remember what each one is for. I have a couple for my equipment that look exactly alike so I just put magic marker on them while still in the store.

But oil containers do go bad.
I've had two 5 gallon pails with plastic "caps/spouts" where the cap disintegrated (plastic became brittle and cracked). One was 5 gallons of Super UDT, the other was 5 gallons of Opti-Lube. The contents seem fine, just the caps fell apart.
Both were stored inside my shed, no light allowed.

I wonder if the plastic is one of those new "eco-friendly" Soybean based plastic instead of the petroleum based plastic. Like the automotive wiring that the squirrels are so fond of eating. It must taste really good (to a squirrel:))
