Just picked up a MT2501D myself and have the same questions. If I have any luck I'll post up.
Still looking for a operator/owner manual...

OK..."D" is the PTO control that adjust how fast/slow the PTO lifts when you move the lever.

"B" is the 4 wheel drive differential lock. Use this with caution on hard surfaces.

I'm curious about "E", does yours have a dipstick on it ?

More looking tells me there is no dipstick for the fluid level, just an overflow port. I'm also seeing that "E" may be a cover for a filter ?
Do you have a filter under it ?

My Mitsu is considerably different. (MT180D)

No dipstick either, filter is a screen (on mine) alongside of the tunnel, an oval plate that has a tubular screen attached.
Basically it is a suction screen that filters B4 pump draws fluid.

Would that crank like device not be an adjustment for a 3-point lift arm?

By "crank like", are you referring to "B"? That is the diff lock pedal. On My 2000D, the dipstick is located on top of the trans case. In the OP's pic, it is the filler located between "C" and "D". In the OP's pic, it has had a fitting and hose attached for what I assume is a Hydraulic return to tank hose, probably for a FEL valve return. The cap on top of that fitting looks like the factory dip stick cap, but that model may have simply used a cap w/o dipstick. "E" should be the suction filter, unscrew it and a removable cartridge type screen filter should be inside. I clean mine with a soft wire brush and use either hot water and dish soap or solvent ( starting fluid or brake cleaned are cheap and work great)

Was able to confirm the above for my MT2501FD. E is the cover for a suction filter. The black plastic cap has no dip stick. You just fill till it run out of the overflow port. Also, uses tractor fluid, not 90w gear oil.

I sell the MT670 manuals as the closest manuals. Same engine & all most identical transmission.

Hi Guys,

I have a MT2201. Regarding the black plastic cap, mine comes with dipstick but no marks so I am struggling to understand until where I have to fill in with hydraulics fluid.
Anyone can help me?

Thanks
