Not sure there is any real problem with the new Kioti backhoe. But, if you are still wary, you might be able to get another brand of backhoe.

Amen!

DMACE-
That must be trick picture of your CK 20 with that big rock in the bucket. I have a new CK20 HST, arrived late this summer, only have 6-7 hours on it. Would never imagine it could lift a rock that size. I traded in a Chinese beast with a Kelly FEL, it would not lift that much and if it did, I would not be able to steer it. I dragged some pretty fair sized rocks with it, but lift-never.
Now I am excited about digging with the little brute next summer.

I'm looking at purchasing a ck20 TLB and after seeing the posts about the BH problems I'm having second thoughts. Are the problems with all the 2365 BHs? Thanks

I have 350hrs on my tractor (purchased Oct 2005 with KB2365) and more than half of that is on the backhoe pulling stumps, digging trenches for drainage, removing large rocks, etc... No problems to date for me, then again I grease my tractor regularly and properly maintain it unlike the majority of the owners with problems. I also have the large stabilizer feet and 16" bucket, it gets worked hard and is incredible for it's size.

I have had mine for one year now, and have had no problems with the backhoe. Boy can that little guy dig.

Do you think the big feet make much of a difference, mine did not come with big feet, they are and addon I guess.

I have never tried my backhoe without them since my dealer installed them free of charge before delivery along with the larger bucket. I do know that my fathers larger tractor with flat stabilizer feet gets pulled all over. I can still yank the tractor around with a good stump or rock but without these feet, the stabilizers are not stabilizing that much.

I love my tractor and am very glad I got the backhoe, it's amazing the things I could not have done without it.

YES. Big Feet made a real difference for my CK20 KB2365. Before installing the Big Feet, I was forever pulling the tractor into the hole I was trying to dig or stump I was trying to dig out which required frequent repositioning just to stay in the same place. Once I installed the Big Feet that essentially stopped tractor movement.

I'd heartily recommend the Big Feet which are very well made and finished. That said, it would be pretty easy to bolt on a couple of angle iron pieces that would duplicate (or nearly duplicate) the resistance to sliding at considerably less cost. I don't recall exactly what I paid but it might have been as much as $120-$150 when shipping was included.

Would those "Big Feet" work on asphalt or are they toothed aggressively. I have used the stock plates on my backhoe's outriggers but could use a larger flat pad at the very least. Maybe even home made feet out of some large thick chunks of hardwood. Anybody have any suggestions.

For Asphalt and hard pavements, I think you are supposed to use rubber pads. Someone made their own out of old tires. Seemed to be a pretty good, cheap option.

I mademine for dirt out of some 2 x 12 C-channel. Perfect size for my Rhino BH. Welded pieces onto the ends to close it off. So far, they haven't been too hard to clean out. Work way better than nothing at all.

No, they are definitely for soil use only. They can be removed in about 5 minutes or you could rig an insert with wood a little higher than the "teeth" of the BigFeet so they don't dig into the asphalt. BigFeet are four sided so you couldn't just stick a board under them.
