Today I took off the floor plates on my 1430 to clean the sticks and dirt out of the bottom and around the threadle and noticed I had more leg room. I am 6'tall and my knees hit the bottom of the dash board. So I drove around with them off and all I need to do is take the foot pedals and turn them upside down so my feet can reach the pedals

Interesting... I'm on the other end of the scale (5'5") and have my seat moved all the way back. Not something I can ever do in a car or truck. I've always wondered how well the seating/leg arrangement worked for someone not so... vertically challenged. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I changed to a suspension seat that is a couple inches higher so gained leg room but lost some head room.Watch those bumps! The best part for me is that I'm in a more comfortable position in relation to the steering wheel, sitting over it kind of like a big rig driver. I removed the spinner cause it's better without it now. You can experiment first with cushions to see if it will work out for you.
