Just a thought about air pressure if you go to the Load Range E tires. They usually say max air pressure 85 PSI on the tire, and often the tire installer will go by that and put 85 pounds in all the tires. That's way more than you need in a half ton. My '98 Chevy K3500 SRW says 55 PSI for the front, on the door jamb, but I'll give it an extra ten pounds or so when the snowplow's on.
