I like my new Load Trail 10K

Load Trail Trailer Manufacturing

It seems well built and has a good warranty and a decent price.

Mine was the CH10 with flip up spring assist ramps, 6 inch frame channel, both axles have elec brakes,

I purchased my Sure-Trac a couple of years ago and have had no issues. The finish is powder coat and still looks new. They media blast the steel before assembly which helps. They even offer hot-dip galvanized or full military spec anti-corrosion finish if you want it. I liked it enough, that I just ordered a new enclosed 7x16 10k GVWR for hauling those items you don't want to get wet. I will of course post picture once it arrives.

Sure Trac Home

Before I bought my Sure-Trac, I had a Mac-Lander for 7 years. It held up well and never had any issues. I sold it to my dad and he is still using it.

I've been very satisfied with my Load Trail car/ equipment hauler. 20 feet and 10.4K . Actually I'm an extreme nitpicker and the Load Trail was easily the best value and quality combination out there when I bought, probably still is.

I just purchased a new Kaufman equipment trailer and I've been very happy with it. Great price and superb quality. IMO for a truly well built, well engineered equipment trailer look for manufacturers that also make big trailers (big pintle hitch, semi low-boys, drop decks, etc.) I figure if they can build a 50 ton low-boy they probably can build a standard equipment trailer pretty well too.

That Kaufman site looks pretty good--I'll check it out.
Also, I just got a lead on a Towmaster Contrail trailer. Any opinions on these?

I have a PJ dump trailer and it's quality is near that of my Corn-Pro flat trailer. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Verticaltrx - I was just reading through this thread thinking about asking about Kaufman.

I have an older 20+5 Big Tex 14,000 GN right now, but man is it hitch heavy!

I second the vote for a PJ. I have a 20' 14K and it's very well made, with full power coating and a very good job on the wiring. I would not hesitate to buy one again. Base on all of the ones I found around here I felt the quality/price ratio was best on PJ. It may be a different situation out by you.

Take a look ar Redi Haul Trailers Home Page trailers in Fairmount, Minnesota. They make a full line. Mine is 12 years old and served faithfully. Although, I'm not a business man, their trailers are well built and they have a full line of equipment trailers I think. Their direct customer service is good but they sell thru dealers mostly.
