Need Opinions on buying a new 5525

Kyle: Cab, MFWD, power reverser, 2 rear and 2 mid remotes, EH 3 point, cold start kit, tele. lift arms, weight bracket. With 542 FEL, non-SL, w/bucket.

ddivinia: That tractor and loader off of their lot they're quoting me 44,100. It's been sitting so I'm sure they'd like to move it. I would like to have a 3rd rear remote but it looks like a $1,000+ dealer install, so I doubt that I'll add it.

The 5025 rear SCVs are not stackable. What you see on the tractor is what you get, unless you want to replace the whole valve.

$44,100 sounds a steal. Is it a new tractor.

I would pass on the 3rd valve for now, you can add it later. I needed the 3rd SCV for the grapple.

It's new with just the uloading/service type time - less than 5 hours I'd guess.

Man that's cheap! Who has deals like that? Do you know if it has the big 480/80 tires on it?

What's retail? Unless my #'s are off retail is about $52 or 53k. So you're about 20% off of retail which is a good deal. They can go more especially if it's been there awhile.

Taking this tractor's actual list and adding today's 542 list it works out to roughly 56,200. If you build the same one on the Deere site now, since there have been price increases, it works out to about 57,000.

Rear rubber is 16.9.

How many acres do you have? I paid right at $44,000 for a 6415 which is alot more tractor than the 5525.
