Hi everyone, I am looking at a T330HST w/ TL200 FEL. Dealer is asking 16k, and tractor is SWEET! Problem is, why is TYM so hard to find in the pacific northwest, and what if the local dealer goes out of business? I know that they have been making tractors for other names i.e. Mahindra, Scorpion, etc, and that the engine is Kubota. If I search the Web, the info is pretty slim. The few reports I see are good, but what I want to know is if there are any weaknesses to this tractor to watch out for. Anybody got any horror stories before I buy this beauty? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Thanks for the help,
Havenlane

I was a TYM dealer, I would be happy to talk with you about that particular tractor and TYM. Email me at Buck@EFCconstruction.com. In the meantime I would keep your options open :)

TYM is excellent product. I understand the factory just built a new warehouse in Oregon. I heard a rumor they are planning to expand their presance across the US in the near future. If you have a dealer in your area you feel you can work with I would not hesitate.
Happy Tractoring

My T330 HST has been excellent. See my pics and thread on this page. Long term parts availability should be no problem since the tractor has a Kubota/Eaton powertrain. The rest of the tractor is the same as a Mahindra XX10 series.

For dirt work, the TYM will work circles around most green or blue tractors in the ~30 hp range. (3300+ lbs with the loader attached.) Massive cast iron components. Good ground clearance. Easy access to everything.
I also considered Kioti, Montana and Mahindra. They all seem to be heavier machines than Deere and NH for alot less money.
