We are the dearest country on the planet and even our 6 cylinder 6354.4 rebuild kits are only $680 and that includes liners . Yours should be heaps cheaper than that . Maybe you should go to an auto supply house to get the Perkins kit , you do'nt need to go to a Massey dealer . Hastings , TRW , Sealed Power etc. would all do kits .
A perkins diesel engine (on most models) has very thin ring lands, if a person uses etherThanks for the info. I am rebuilding it because of a sudden and large amount of blow by. I am guessing I broke a ring or something. And it is in a MF 231
Gemstar i have not been looking at this thread for a while did you try bareco i have probs putting web addresses for some reason but you know how to put the w's infront as i said we have used their parts no complaints one thing i have noticed is that you guys seem to have alot of problems with ether do you tend to drown it i have used it succesfully for the last 23 years (as a heavy diesel mechanic) and have never had any il effects
