total cost was $175.00 to build the rake, scrap metal was 20 cent a pound TINES WITH SHIPPING $120.00

That is a great job you did there. I have three times that much in my rake and gage wheels!

I'm still not sure why I did not follow in MadRef's footsteps and make my owh gage wheels... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The KK wheels are fairly heavy duty, and I have them doing double duty now, but still...nothing beats the satisfaction of building your own.
