Shifty:
Hope this picture will help. Your local Kubota Should be able to help. Some of the internet dealers will also allow you to order parts.

Keep in mind that Kubota changed the tint of the orange color. The early 1980's orange is different from the late 1990's orange. I don't know when the color changed.

Attached is a photo of my late 1970's or early 1980's B7100D. The wheels have been repainted but the tractor paint is original (slightly faded). The ROPS was added in the late 1990s.

I also have a sales brochure for the late 1990's B7100HSD with the new Kubota orange color. Let me know if you need a copy of the picture on this brochure.

Any Kubota dealership should be able to order any and all decals for you. Most of them have the paint in stock.

Kelvin,

What's that deal on the front of your tractor, a weight box? And is that ailanthus altissima growing fast?

My B5100E had that box too. It's the housing for the electric clutch for the front PTO. If you look closely you can see the belt that drives the MMM passing under the front axle.

glennmac,
Pbenven answered correctly...the box is the cover for the front PTO electric clutch assembly. There are a couple of weights in there also.

I am not a "green thumb" by any means so I don't know which plant you are even talking about when you ask about the "ailanthus altissima". However, I just recently cleared all of the plants from in front of the house so I don't think it is growing fast any more. I am in the process of replacing all of the plants & shrubs with ones that don't grow over 5 feet tall like some of the older ones did.

Kelvin, I've been researching, planting and spending ungodly amounts of money on trees since getting my tractor. The tree with the multiple leaves on each branch that is in the background just to the right of your ROPS in the picture-- what do you believe it to be? If it's still there.

glennmac,
That tree is still there. My wife trimmed all of the branches off and they have indeed grown back very fast. I'll snap a close-up picture of the tree in the next day or so. My wife says that the tree was there when we bought the house in 1987.
