Need Recommendation for good hill tractor

I almost bought a TYM, with the intent of adding dualies (the TYM is a great tractor btw imo). But then ksimolo offered up one of his spare Power-Trac 1850's and I bought it. It is a fantastic general tractor for working slopes, but I would not recommend it for plowing. My slopes hit about 40 degrees, my built in slope meter freaks out past 30...

my kioti DK55 felt a little tippy when i 1st bought it, i'm in southern west virginia, i was used to a 3600 ford. but after using it for a few weeks i got to know what it could do, its a lot wider and heavier than a 3600, and it will handle hillsides just as well as the ford, plus its 4 wheeldrive and that helps a lot. i have fluid in the rears. i say the heavier and wider in this state with all the hills.

Did your dealer have a Mahindra 4530? I think if you could find a 4530 , move the wheels out and the tractor would fit your needs very well. So what if Mahindra is discontinuing the model, all tractor manufacturers drop models and move on to new ones. No big deal.

I'd say for a good hill Tractor, undoutedly a Ventrac 4231 Turbo Diesel but I don't think a Ventrac is big enough for what you want to do. Their articulating All Wheel Drive tractors and are EXTREMLY Versatile. The can be equiped with dual wheels which gives them the ability to work on slopes up to 30 degrees continuous on the Turbo diesel.
