Spreader need seed spreader advice please

Thanks LC. What got me curious is that Herd says on its website that PTO drive models are "recommended" for spreading fertilizer (see Herd Seeder - Seeders, Spreaders and Feeders, suggesting that the electric drive models have some limitations. I am unlikely to use the unit I buy to spread fertilizer, so if there is some marginal limitation with that use, I am not too concerned.

I can only guess that you can't put 700 lbs in an electric spreader
i don't really know though
