Need some advice on a new tractor

Its Rinehart. He does have some good prices on the Montana. He quoted me $17.4 for the 3040syncro with tandem trailer, brushog, boxblade and post hole digger. They are just sw of Columbia, but 120 miles from me. If they were closer to me, I would be driving a Montana.

York County Kubota, about an hour from Greenville, or less, put me in a Kubota L4400, 4wd, w/FEL for about $18,500 2 years ago with 0% financing. I'd give them a call and see what they can do for an L3400DT w/FEL.

Also, I found the Kubota dealer in Hendersonville, just up the road from you, to be friendly, helpful and with decent prices.

There sure are an aweful lot of SC/NC folks here on TBN!

Yeah I talked to Rinehart, Sally is around 200 miles from me I am thinking bout riding down and taking a look.

I am also talking to the JD and Kubota dealer locally in Spartanburg.

Mahindra 3525 and loader LIST at $16850.00. I bought a 3325 last summer which listed at $10,295.00 for $8,900.00 after discounts and rebatrs. Plus they have 0% interest till 5/31/07.

There are 3 dealers within 50 miles of Greenville. One in Laurens, one in Anderson and I can't remember the other.

Before you buy a tractor look at a Mahindra. I LOVE mine. They are heavier than the others and have good dealer support.

You can't beat the price. The 3325 and the 3525 are built like the old Internationals.

Much as it pains me to say this, I think the L4400 is the better deal - a bit more power and features than the JD990, and just seems like more tractor. Prices on either one look pretty reasonable/normal.

That was my impression too. It just sort of out specs the 990 in most areas. I'd have been perfectly happy with either one, but in my case the L4400 was cheaper too and the JD 0% offer had expired. Had it still been in place, I'd probably be a big fan of the 990 right now because the JD dealer near me was a nice place and very close by.

Actually both of them have some really good financing programs right now. The only problem is it over shoots my budget. I am going to head down tomorrow afternoon and drive them since the dealer sells both it makes it easy.

Which the salesman told me on the phone I could get a JD 5103 for around 17000 with a loader. Which that is a much larger tractor and its 2 wheel drive. Do you guys use the 4 wheel drive much on your tractors?

I kind of wish I was buying next year I would be able to do alot more. I would have time to get a good down payment up. I have found a used JINMA 3540 4x4 with a rotary cutter for 9 k. It seems to be a good deal to me it only has round 50 hrs on it.

It seems like a good deal but I still like the JD and Kubota's the price is what is making it attractive to me.
