Hi Guys,
I own a farm in Tennesee and have a 5410 with about 700 hours. I went to start it after having shut it down for a few minutes and the starter engaged for a split second and that was it. nothing afterwards; not even a click from the starter solonoid. The battery checks out fine. Since then I have checked out the ignition switch, starter relay, and the other relays and they are all fine. The diode pack does not check (continuity) as described in the service manual. Question- can the diode pack keep the starter from engaging? I thought that the diode pack only effected the fuel shutoff switch.
Let me know what you think,
Thanks,
Michael
