I have been on this forum for years and " know" lots opf you are pretty good on computers, so I need some help.
In the past I just logged on to TBN and every time I returned I was still logged on. Now however, I have to logon each time and I also have to refresh each page, cause the topic that is showing on the side of each catagoru is different from the first one after you click on the specific catagory.
Did I change something something or is my computer going crazy or what?
Any help will be appreciated. Later, nat

Sounds like you may have turned "cookies" off.

The next time you log in, see if you see a checkbox or option to remember your password or settings.

If you clear your cookies once, it clears that setting as well and you will have to enter your password each time you come back until you select that again.

Give it a try and see if you find it.

It also may be helpful to let us know what browser you are using.

If you are using IE.. then cookie settings are under 'tools' and then 'internet options'.

Post what you are using..

I fill in the logon and click the box to remember me and it still forgets who I am.
My computer has Internet explorer which I use most of the time, but it also has Netscape. I went to TBN on Netscape on Sat and it still remembers me on it, but not on Internet Explorer. That doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone give me more info on what I'm doing wrong? later, Nat

Launch IE. Log into TBN with your username and password. Logout of TBN using the Log Out link at the top of the page, then log back in again and re-enter your username and password. Then don't log out, just close IE. Then launch IE again and see if it remember your settings. If it does not, you should go through IE and get rid of you cookies and try it again.

what are your security settings on IE? I suggest that you use Firefox and stop having to deal with all the crap.
