FWJ, that is one very nice looking tractor. Have you done it up since you bought it (it looks very shiny). I also think that Massey Ferguson made the best utility tractor ever but I think it was the MF 135.

About 2 years ago, I found a new "Power steering" center cap for my steering wheel on EBAY. That got the ball rolling. A few more parts, a good cleaning, a paint job, a new seat, ect, ect, ect,..... And I'm not done yet. New rear rubber this winter. I've got an OEM ROPS and canopy. And who knows what else. I got 36 years use so far and plan on this one hauling me to the cemetary some day.

Here's what it looked like a few days before the re-hab started.

It looked in pretty good condition when you started your restoration. Do you still work it on the farm?

You have a canopy for it, can I see a picture. I would like to make one for our tractor as I dont think you can get them in England. :(

Very nice tractor. Kinda tractor-****. :D As dry as it's been here in NE Ohio, I can take my time finding just the right one.

From the day I bought the 150, it had a special place with me. Dad had a Ferguson F-40 (I still have) and my uncle had a MF 50 (That I still have) The 150 is a later generation of those two. I had a few other tractors that did the dirty work. For the first 34 years, the 150 pulled a corn planter and mowed hay mostly. In 36+ years, I've just now hit 3000 hours on the clock. It's worked harder in the last 2 years than it did in its first 34.

I quit farming 2 years back. I still have 45 acres that I cut some hay off of (to sell) The 150 does 90% of the work now. I started a mowing business with my son and son-in-law this spring. I use the 150 to bush hog in cleaner conditions.

I'll get you a picture when I can. The canopy is under a bunch of "garage stuff" right now. I bought the ROPS at an auction and found the canopy laying against a trashed 255 at a junk yard. Dragged 'em both home, got 'em painted, put 'em in the shed, and dropped the ball. I got too busy and put off finishing the 150 until this coming winter.

If this tractor had a cab, I'd live in it.
