Need TC-40 DA fuel cap gasket dimensions

You'd think that. But New Holland was still selling fuel caps that don't tolerate biodiesel less than two years ago. It may "look like rubber" but you have to be more sure or you will be either replacing it, or dealing with pulling bits of "rubber" from your tank.

Do you add anything to your fuel? The gasket on my 9 year old DX55 is like new. I know when I bought mine, CIH was shipping the tractors fueled with biodiesel.

Generally, no I do not add anything. Just Minnesota pump diesel from either Fleet Farm or a High Volume Holiday that all the local commercial trucks use. These are the only 2 stations I fill my tractor with. I always top off my truck when I fill a fuel can for the tractor, and if a 5 gal can has been sitting for more than a month, I dump it into my trucks tank and immediately fill with fresh.

Toward fall, I do add some white bottle Power Service just because I don't use enough fuel when it starts getting cold before the winter blend starts showing up.

Minnesota has always had about a bio content of 2-5%. About two years ago they mandated up to 20%. My problems started when they started using bio over 10%.
