Need three point instruction

I have an 08 2815 HST. I've had the backhoe attached until yesterday, when I needed to use a york rake. I got the backhoe off no problem, and went to hook up the york rake, which is when my problem occurred -

1. How do I activate the 3 point controls? I can't get the lower arms to raise/lower...

2. The top arm supplied (behind the seat) isn't long enough to reach the top point of the york rake.

I know I have to be doing something very simple wrong. I do not have a manual for the tractor, otherwise I'd look at that. I've searched all through these forums, as well as google, and come up empty.

Any detailed instruction you all could give, I would most certainly appreciate it.

Check to see if you have a control knob in front of the seat, by your feet. This controls the float of the 3 point. The upper arm should be adjustable and you can adjust to change length for different implements. It should have a nut on one end that you can loosen and then make it long or short, then tighten back.

Did you reconnect your hydraulic hoses.
The Quick coupler hoses you removed from your backhoe when you took it off need to be reconnected back to each other to create a hydraulic loop.

Thank you for the suggestions so far - I never knew the manual was available online, that helped alot. Unfortunately I still have had no success -

If the bucket is working properly then the entire hydraulic loop is hooked correctly, no?

Not necesarily. One backhoe hose has to loop arround and attach back into the system under the right side by the tractor hydraulic distribution block.
