What? You don't have fenders on your tractor? Lots of aftermarket fender tool boxes..

Soundguy, I guess you could bolt one to the fender at that. That would be better than the RC...

And 47 2n, There is a tray between the gas tank and the radiator. Is that put there for tools? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif With no lid, I would worry a bump might make a tool fall out and into the rad fan... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I guess I could make a lid though...

Are Ammo Boxes the most popular option for tool boxes?

Pretty hard to beat an ammo box. 5-10$ apiece, positive latch system, gasketed lid, built tough enough to be filled with heavy ammo and carried and available is several sizes and styles. My local surplus store just closed up so now I need to order from places like CheaperthanDirt.com.

I don't believe I would want to carry anything on a bush hog.

That decision is fine with me, but why not? What could be a problem doing it? It's just a flat deck for the most part.
Just curious. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Best not have a bump so 'bad' that the tools jump out, as that much of a bump will likely toss you off too. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Going way too fast if tools bounce out of that tool box you have under the hood. Used to have bolts, nuts, pliers, wrenches, dirt, oil rag, etc. in there all the time. Most old tractors just had an open tray or box for tools.
They are good to have, and ammo boxes are not the coolest, but certainly are functional. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
