Need to sell my Kubota B2910

I have a 1 year old Kubota B2910 HSD with a 72inch Belly Mower and foldable ROPS. It has approximately 50 hours on it. It has been garage kept and has only been used to mow a 5 acre lot. I was just wanting to know how much I should try to sell this tractor for? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would find out what a new unit costs. Assuming the new units cost more, and assuming you got a good deal when you bought yours last year, you might be able to actually sell it for just about what you paid for it.

It is my understanding that the price normally quoted for that package NEW (with R-4 tires since you didn't mention which tires you have) is in the $17 to $17,500 range.

During the 0% financing period nearly new, used Kubotas were hard to sell. I would think that they would be easier to sell now that the 0% no longer exists.

EBAY: Last month (Oct 2003) there was a B2910 with 60" mower, foldable ROPS, canopy and turf tires with an opening bid (by the owner I presume) of $12,500. I thought that this was a very good price, but it never received any more bids. The tractor was listed a second time and still never received any bids. They apparently sold the tractor without the 60" mower and the last I saw they were trying to sell the mid-mower on Ebay.

This past summer I paid $13K for my used B2910 with 48 hours, 72" mid-mower, R-4 tires, and foldable ROPS. I think the tractor is worth more than that, but I would've purchased a L3130 if I were to spend much more money than that.

On a different subject, I don't know if you're a Wildcat fan or not, but they looked pretty good against Arkansas last Saturday. The Volunteers are going to have their hands full when they play in a couple of weeks.

I think 0% is back for loans up to 36 months at Kubota. I sold my L48 for about 12% off my price. I would try for about 15% off what you paid. Realize too that the new buyer will probably not have to pay sales tax which if that is the case, make sure you add that in. It's a real bonus for buying used.
