Need to Ship Tractor within NYS

Hi all,

I need to find a shipping company that will transport my Kubota B3000 HSDCC approximately 130 miles (2 hours, per Google's "Driving Directions"), within the state of NY. The starting zip code is 10901 (about 30 mi. north of NYC) and the destination is 12140 (a few miles outside of Albany, NY). This cabbed tractor currently has the FEL and B77 backhoe on it, in addition to a 60" belly mower (up in the highest or "transit" position), so it weighs just about 5,000lbs as configured (if my math is correct). It is about 18.5 feet long (with the backhoe in the "transit" position) and is approx. 7'1" tall, sitting on turfs.

The only place I was able to get non-orbital rates was from U-Ship earlier this year when I had my tractor shipped. Upside is having the ability to work a timing plan that fits into a shippers trajectory for a side load.

A guy I know used this company, but I have never used them myself. If I had more time, I'd try to help you out myself, I live in between those 2 locations.

Can you not just rent a trailer and haul it yourself?

It's not that big a load, easily half ton truck (or equivalent SUV) towable.
