I'm seriously considering purchasing a MX5100 with BH92 and will need to transport it approx. 9hrs. I have found the weight as follows:

MX5100 3620lbs --> I'm assuming this is dry?
BH92 1800lbs
LA844 ????

Also looking at a LP BB as well which is just under 700lbs. What is unfortunate is my Frontier can pull only 6500lbs so I have to add the trailer weight as well so I'll be over that. Need to look at renting a larger truck or flatbed to carry the tractor but wanted to know what the added weight the loader and bucket would be.

Just found it. The LA844 is 1322lbs so I'm looking at 6742 lbs dry + 12.6 gallons or 75 lbs give or take. Total around 7500 lbs with the BB included.

Tks.

Add about 700 pounds for the FEL with bucket at least. The Frontier's bumper would be scraping the ground if you tried to use it, best to find an 2500HD or F250SD at the very least.

Considering the price of fuel, wear and tear, and time, I'd consider using an OTR contract to transport. I'd say you can have it moved for a reasonable price. A deadhead transporter will be glad to backfill.

All I know is when I weighed my L3130GST with LA723 with quick attach and Bradco 408 backhoe with loaded tires I was about 13,000 including the trailer. Trailer is 14K Load Trail 20ft tilt deck, and think a little over 4,000 empty. I am thinking your weights are on the lighter side. May be wrong but I think the MXs are built a little heavier then the L3130.

We had an MX4700 on a 5 hour tow with a 6ft bush hog and FEL. We didn't weigh it, but it felt just like my 9,500lb MF tractor and didn't have any problems delivering pucker behind a Ram 2500 LWB Cummins if the trailer brakes weren't cranked up. I think you're underestimating the weight of the 5100 significantly.
