This is where the Commercial Inland Marine policy comes in real handy. For a modest price of around $15 or so per thousand of insured value, you are just about blanket covered for just about anything you may do to or with your tractor, whether on or off your property. Plus it covers stuff that may seem like frills but could come in handy at some point. I would encourage everyone to ask their agent about this coverage. It may seen like overkill but its better to be safe than sorry.
BTW, I am not an agent or in the insurance business. I just happen to have an agent who also owns a tractor and this policy is what he personally has and recommends. Your mileage may vary.
