Neighbor asked me to come pick up tree-house/stand with my FEL. Didn't go as planned

Yeah, we all got a good laugh out of that one. The house didn't get too much damage. They fixed it with a few 2x4s across the outside where one wall had cracked, but otherwise it was in surprisingly good shape all things considered. Roof and floor were both in perfect shape.

In hindsight, once we realized it was anchored so well, I should have just supported it with the forks while they chopped the 6x6 posts with a chain saw at ground level. But what would have been the fun in that.

We did pull out one of the posts afterwards with chain, but it took a lot of rocking it back and fourth before it would come out. Amazing how a post that's been set is cement 20 years doesn't want to let go.

That's perfect hindsight. Thats a big benefit to slowing down sometimes.

I would never beleive a big tractor like that couldn't pull 4posts out of dirt. Neither would I believe those nails would hold the floor on against that big tractor (as long as they did).

I think those post being set in concrete really made them resist getting pulled out.

The FEL on that tractor got quite a bit of lifting power...
