I had no idea at the time it was going to be a “ keeper “. I learned how to reload as they were a fairly expensive round. It was a blast of a gun to shoot.

Would it be worth a lot today?
It had a decent size scratch on one side of the stock, otherwise pretty good shape. Great bear gun.

Yes, reloading helps a lot! With my 500S$W decent factory rounds are about 3 bucks each my reloads are about 83 cents each.

Yes he did.... the same pack of dogs had killed chickens and sheep on another ranch previously, the sheriff had investigated complaints against this idiot, I was unaware of, I too was surprised, but that’s what happened.
