Ethanol blend here is usually 10-15 cents cheaper but the better gas mileage I get with the regular gas more than pays for the higher price.
not wanting to be attacked but I think maybe the ethanol is meant more for saving the amount of crude rather then saving mileage.

It is a Federal program thus it does not have to make a sense, nothing the feds do is efficient or intelligent.
