Neighbor selling Kioti CX2510- Is this a good price?

If you ever need a hole dug you'll have the tool. Bushes, fence post, water or power to a shed, etc. Not a big hoe will dig easier than a shovel. I use mine a lot to pull willows out of the pond.

As others have said - buy it - that's a great deal. You will never go wrong getting a BH especially if you have rocky soil, or need to install plant material, transplant trees, or lift and hold logs for cutting.

thks- He is moving and does not want to pay to have it shipped across country so he said If I wanted it he would rather sell it to me- Just came up today really have not looked into it so I thought I would ask the experts-

I have a CX2510. Awesome machine so far. I paid 31000 for machine, FEL with 3rd function and the Mid mounted mower. That seems like a great price.

+4 on the great price - nab it asap is my advice.

I got my tractor with 20hrs on it but had to ship it and got a great price and I'm totally happy.

My only concern would be is it large enough for your future and current needs? If its bigger than what you think you need then fer sure go for it.

A NEW Branson tractor 3515r. ( 35 hp ) with loader is $23,400 at Keno Tractors check on line. 6 year warranty used tractor no warranty. Worth checking out. That is where I bought mine at great people to deal with

20k is a good price. IF you want the backhoe. You should be able to get a new cx2510 for around 20k, maybe less.

thks guys- Im still thinking as I really do not need a backhoe but seems like I am getting it for nothing- Is there a market for a backhoe or just has they come new with the tractor??
I just checked and it seems the backhoe is a $8,000 option???

I have a similar sized Kubota BX23S (tractor, loader, backhoe) and although the backhoe was not something that I had ever really considered, it is AMAZING how useful it has been. It is probably on my tractor almost 1/2 of the time, and I use it for a lot of different things, not just digging holes / trenches.
I have difficulty (personally, physically) getting on and off the backhoe, but part of the reason that I still bought the entire package unit is because it is so convenient / useful when a friend who has some tractor knowlege and experience, stops by and can lend a hand. My son-in-law was raised on a farm, and he has assisted with the backhoe work on more occasions than I can recall.

I also don't do much with a chainsaw - but I still have a small one. Very handy.

For things like that, it is more a question of how can that be a benefit on the property, rather than how can I figure out a safe way to use that tool / equipment. Sometimes, Others are a better solution than Me . I know (most of) my limits.

PS - the KIOTI model was my second choice, mostly came down to a dealership decision for me.

One other thought is that the balance of the warranty can probably be transferred over to you, through a call to Kioti. Probably a small fee. That would be a benefit.
