Neighbor's dog causes several flat tires. What?

Many passenger car tires now have really thin sidewalls.

This is one of the reasons I prefer LT tires. Depending on the year/size, may be hard to find LT for a Ranger though.

I can't think of a really good flavor at this moment,
I am sure some of you will have some good ideas but
perhaps laying on a good layer of Lemon, or Lime or
something dogs find repulsive will teach him a lesson.

Maybe a good spray w/ MACE just to your tires right around the corner and
pull on in. Maybe have a friend in the pasenger seat too
and whatever side the dog goes to, the second he
goes for the tire, as he gets a lick of MACE a good
long balst w/ a hand held air horn like for boating
will trash him but good into not wanting to do it
anymore. Bonus points for a tin can w/ a couple of rocks
in it for noise and throw it at his feet, not to mame but to scare.

Someone I knew was at a waterhole in Namibia photographing wildlife. It was in the Kalahari desert, a very isolated area. Anyway, a group of lion came around and after some other horseplay, one of them came up to the car and bit one of the front tires and it was flat in a few seconds. Couple of seconds later it bit one of the rears.. flat too. The lion stayed around, so they could not get out the vehicle to change the tire (they always took 2 spares due to the isolation). They ended up having to stay in the vehicle overnight, then scout the area in the morning and quickly change the tires and get the heck out of there before a repeat performance. I think the nearest repair station was about a 6 hour drive away.

I know a fella that drove his Chevy Corsica up to a farmhouse, and the dogs bit holes in both his front and rear bumpers. He didn't get out but left instead.
