One of the neighbors I cleared out has a terminally ill husband and when I arrived on scene I was shocked to see him out attempting to shovel snow!!! Made me feel good to get to play in the snow and help someone out who sure could use it all at the same time. Only thing I have to do now is put an air horn in the tractor instead of the stock horn to deal with a few inconsiderate drivers when I'm out near or on the road.

My neighbor just brought his new born and wife home Friday afternoon so I plowed his place out then yesterday I widened the road and dung the driveway corners back. it was getting pretty treacherous around here

Whenever I see it snowing I get excited. I live in the city so there are not large driveways but I plow 2 blocks of sidewalk and 2 neighbors driveways. I get paid for plowing 2 parking lots also but I just really enjoy moving snow with my tractor even though it is an open station gear drive. This morning I thought I would be cold with it being 10*F but I just vigorously shoveled most of one parking lot and i was warm for the rest of the time.:thumbsup:
I don't really have any competition except from one guy who feels that if I plow his section of sidewalk before him he has to pay me. I don't mind.

KKPOP sorry for the delay on posting pictures of my tractor and blower. Attached are a few pictures of my L3540 and Lorenz 78 inch snowblower. In a couple of the pics I had my pallet forks on in place of my bucket at the time. I will try to get someone to take some pics of the blower in operation ASAP.

Very nice snow-blower, wouldn't mind a front mount like that.
Thanks Timber, I really like this blower and I find it handy having it off the rear of the tractor so I still maintain full use of my loader for pushing back snow banks. I am also very impressed with the heavy duty construction of this blower and pleased with the cleanup job it does on even heavy wet snow.:thumbsup:

day after Christmas we got 12" of snow just east of Raleigh NC
out here in the sticks, they never clear the roads, I cleared our street and all driveways who didn't have 4x4 or were over 50yo. ( pretty much all but 2 on my street )

The only timeI needed to plow, my tractor was 35 miles away. I had it at a dear friend of the families, place, helping out after thier mother had passed away. No snow, just work around the property.
I liked my Uncles setup best, even though I like tractors. He used to live out in the sticks past Mount Shasta. He had a '41 GMC 6x 1-1/2 ton military truck with a dump on the back. On front, he had a huge snow blower. When it was in 6 wheel drive, chained up, and had the snow blower on, it was impressive. He had about 5 miles of road he plowed. He has since moved back to town since a bad back injury. I don't recal details about the snowblower, except it was big.
