My only experience with them was when I was in the Marines and living in Indonesia. I went to Bali for a long weekend with some friends and one of them rented a Suzuki Samaria without any doors or roof on it. I think there where five of us in it and we where driving around on the beach when he turned too sharp, too fast, and it flipped over. I don't remember where I was sitting when it happened, I just remember feeling it happen and then flying through the air and landing on the sand. Nobody was hurt, and we where able to get it back on it's wheels pretty easily. I think some people came and helped who where on the beach. My memory is kind of vague on the details. After that, he returned it to the rental place, paid whatever they said he owed and we road around in taxis after that. It was fun, but not a good idea to take it out on the beach :)

The Beach was not the problem Eddie. ;)

Here's a picture of my $1000 Suzuki earning it's keep with my 1938 Bantam 60 Roadster in tow...

Nice Sami.

And here's some pics of my friends Sami. It reflects what they can be and can do. He has less than half the cost of a UTV in it.

Neither of them Samis will be that clean in this area, Ohio rust belt takes away the entire undercarriage of well everything... My 90 Nissan Pathfinder only has 67K but nothing left under it from rust eating it away engine & trans were bullet proof & goes about anywhere...

Fuel pump wiring quit & had to have it towed home & they blew out front end steering because they towed it wrong...

We fight road rust here too. Thomas looked a long time to find one this clean. He's a bit OCD about it. But he also wheels the snot out of it. Pretty amazing what it will do.

Even being in California the Samurai windshield frame has a spot of rust bubbling.... underneath is real clean.

There is a lot of junk out there on the market if it is not made per reputable standards. Many companies have merchandise made in China or wherever to their standard and it is hard to argue the value. But non name or little known brand merchandise is a carp shoot.
