Neutral safety switch on mf 2625

Where is the neutral safety switch located on a mf 2625 tractor. I went to crank my tractor and it want start, pro isn't engaged, in neutral, and battery is good. I've had it replace before under warranty but the dealer went out of business and the nearest one is 3 weeks behind and told me I could try replacing neutral safety switch. I'm assuming it is under the steering wheel on the left near lever to go forward or reverse . Any help would be greatly welcome

Is the range shifter (hi/lo) in neutral?

IIRC, the neutral start switch threads into the top of the transmission. You can remove the connector and short it out to test.

Yes the range shifter is where it usually is when I crank it. So the neutral safety switch threads into the top of the transmission, I will check it when I get home and see if that is my problem. I was also reading the manual and it said to replace my battery after three years but on the gauge it says it is fine, do I need to concern myself with that? It also said to service my transmission every 300 hours and I called my dealer and he said that it is usually after 700 hours, so I'm not sure.
