Maine_Polack said:Back to the top link. What might be the purpose of having a smaller pin on the tractor end? I bent my 6500 top link, and because of this feature, apparently, I have to get it from Mahindra, which a local dealer "estimated" might cost around $150.
I took a sledge hammer to it and it is workable.
I think I saw a Mahindra toplink on Ebay for about $70--"Buy it Now" type. Its in the bunch of things that don't immediately show up with pictures. Look below. By the way, my 6000 is straight Cat II on the ball ends. It is Cat II where they hook up under the tractor (I take mine off to use the BH--thats how I know this...). My toplink is both CatI and CatII (diffent ends). I need this with my BoxBlade as it can be used eithe Cat., but has CatI toplink connection only....BobG in VA
