New 2007 Yanmars available today !!!

I am confused. I found this web site today Tractor Company of Texas: Used Tractors for Sale, Implements, & Tractor Packages in Mesquite TX that advertises reconditioned tractors and labels them as 2007 models. Does that mean if I rebuild my 66 Chrysler from the ground up this year it will become a 2007 Chrysler? Am I wrong on this or is this a total misrepresentation of the product? Is there absolutely no buyer protection these days?

All I read from their ad is that they are used tractors, 'reconditioned" in 2007. As in anything used, buyer beware.

Any person with a lick of sense would see the oxymoron in the statement New Reconditioned.....so, which is it?

The best buyer protection rests between the ears of the buyer. We have nothing but disdain for sellers who play these games, but nonetheless we lose sale to them, even to people who know the sellers are misrepresenting the product. Says something about overall integrity to me, but again, it doesn't stop some folks from buying there anyway.

I like their backhoes, V-Tech? The first picture shows some unknown hoe (V-Tech?) and the other pictures clearly show Bradco hoes.

In reference to buyer protection.... HERE is the website for the TX attorney general's online complaint form, if anyone cares to fill it out. Mesquite is in Dallas County (the form asks for that).

Mark, I was going to ask where you are seeing "New Reconditioned", then I see that you have not actually read the ads. All I truely see on every ad is "Used tractor reconditioned 2007". Not exactly forthcomiing, but not a lie, unless they were not reconditioned in 2007.

Look below that under General Information. It says:
New/Used: Used
Year: 2007
Make: YANMAR
Model: YM 1500d
Class: AGRICULTURE
Type: TRACTORS

Sorry, but unless someone wants to argue that they are simply informing us of the current calendar year, that format/presentation claims the tractor to be a 2007 model. IMO that is way beyond not forthcoming.
