What’s the difference of this machine and a 2135.... are they really the same ?

Nah, the 2135 is newer I believe. It’s based off the 135, but functionally, the 35 and 135 based machines are VERY similar.

It has a pump off the front of engine, diverted valve at the loader controls that selects loader or backhoe. You have to switch between the two. Kind of a pain jumping out of the hoe seat to the loader bucket. Got it for a good deal I think.. 3k. I値l get a lot of use out of her.

Don't sweat the small stuff ... what a bargain! And you will think this every time you use this lovely machine. Also, you'll be amazed how reliable, strong and capable it still is - even at this age.
I have a diesel MF40 - very similar to your 203 - without a backhoe, but has 3PT and PTO like yours does. It would be a lot of work, but you could dismount the BH and fit the lift arms, then any suitable 3PT-mounted implement can also be used on this tractor. There is A LOT of machine there.
Look after it and enjoy driving it!

Moved a lot of gravel and pea stone on Sunday for the driveway, moved few trees worth of pine logs also. Got to get used to the loader. Seems like it should tilt up further. Powerwashed it also.... lost key. The ignition switch is trashed anyway so I’ll replace it. I hear like an fire thump sound ( intake?)when I use the diesel heater plugs prior to ignition.... is that common?

Found that Rustoilum "Marigold" yellow is a very close match to the old MF yellow. Tried 3 different yellows that one is really good

These loaders, unfortunately, do not have much roll-back angle to the bucket. When I convert mine to SSQA (skid steer quick attach) this summer, I’ll fabricate in some extra roll-back. It’s very annoying to have a full bucket of whatever start sliding out while traveling along.
