New 2032R- 3PT not raising up!

I just got my new JD 2032R yesterday. I went to mow the yard and noticed it was cutting way too short. I tried to raise the 3PT but nothing came up. I called the dealer and he said it was the speed control. I adjusted it and nothing. I shut down the tractor and came back 30 minutes later and it worked fine for about 5-6 times. Once again I shut the tractor down and wait and it works again. There were several attempts to start and nothing happened so I shut it back down.

I did have the rear hydraulics added to this tractor and I wonder if they left a plug in or something. I also went and hooked up my BB and fought to get it up as to move the tractor. I finally had the BB up and moved to the house and figured I would look at it today. When I shut the tractor off the BB came down as if I had lowered the lever.

My FEL works fine and no issues with it. I do not have any attachments to try out the PB yet. Is there suppose to be a hose running between ports on PB?

Dealer said they would come look at it on Monday but I have a landscaper arriving on Tuesday and worked out with me using my tractor to move materials to save me $1000. I am sure the dealer will have to take my tractor in for service and i will be stuck with an extra $1000 bill from landscaper.

What could be the problem?

No idea but have you checked the dipstick for fluid level as per your tractor owners manual?

I would tell the dealer you need a tractor for the landscaper to use while yours it being repaired.

Just went out to get a load of dirt after I finally got my box blade to raise up. Picked up my load and half way back to the house the tractor didn't want to move forward. I thought it was because I was in a low spot so put it in 4 wheel drive. Pulled about 50 feet and realized the BB was on the ground dragging even though the rock lift lever was all the way up. I walked around for 15 minutes, started the tractor and the BB raised all the way up. I got my load of dirt dropped off and before I could turn the tractor around the BB was on the ground again.

Jim, I did check the hydraulic oil level and all is good.

Roger, I sent an email to the dealership, the salesman, the service department, the store manager, and their general manager for the dealership chain stating the issue I have, and that either my tractor would be fixed and back to me, another tractor would be available or they could bring my trade back for me. I know my TC26 could do all of this with no problems.

Well there is one month off of my warranty.

I signed the papers a month ago but I have not had this tractor but for a day. I dont have 2 hours on it and a major failure.

The dealer never called me to let me know what they found. I have had to make all the contacts to them. On my first call I was told they found something plugged. On a call yesterday i found they ordered a new rock lift valve on Monday and expected it yesterday. No valve yet and hope it comes tomorrow or the Friday, or Monday. I might get it back next week if I am lucky. I am not a happy camper and this does not leave a good taste in my mouth for John Deere.:thumbdown:

If your 3pt cyl seals are good, and you have it raised, just turn the knob under the seat to lock it in place.

It is also called the descent valve. Adjust the lowering speed.

It is used for transport.

Did they give you a loaner tractor?

They brought my NH TC26 I traded in back to use. I have almost been tempted to just tell them I decided not to trade and keep what I have.
