My dealer called and said my tractor was all set. Said they found the master cylinder was not getting a good seal for some reason. They replaced it and also threw on the mower draft arm lock-ups for free for my troubles. They brought my tractor back and looks to be good to go.

I am so impressed with how much better the JD is over my NH now that I was able to do almost a side by side comparison. I have been BB a area in my back field and my NH always had to be in low, 4x4, and high RPMS to pull with no rippers down. It really struggled with the rippers down. My new 2032 pulls the BB at half the RPMs. I still have to be in 4x4 to prevent tire spin but does not strain at all. I will get a few hours on it before I put a full heavy load on her. I will have her in low when I put the rippers down but I am still amazed by the difference in power.

I guess she is a keeper. The only negative I have now is the 2 gal per hour that she is burning.

Well, you have 6 HP over the other tractor. That might account for the improved performance.

JJ, it is more than the extra HP. It seems to pull much better. I believe it is a better hydrostat than the NH had.

I did get my TNT hooked up and love it. Only issue is the check valve/ hoses hit when I raise the 3 pt all the way up. I mounted it upside down and then it is close the the PTO. I am thinking of reversing the way the check valve mounts onto the cylinder and that would put the hoses more in the middle of the cylinder. Hate to take apart now as I will have to deal with the fluid. I will get to it sometime.

just fyi. warranty starts on delivery date. my paperwork even states date of delivery. you have a problem one day and send a million emails before even talking to anyone. that's what warranty is for. sometimes new equipment has flaws. you sound like a dealers worst nightmare. the sky is falling sheesh.

FATSLOB,

No I spoke to the dealer and I also spoke with John Deere 1-866 Warranty number. They both told me warranty started on day of purchase which was a month ago. My bigger complaint wasnt that I had a problem but that I was never contacted to what the problem really was.

I work for a large company that does not allow failures out of the box. If this happens it is researched to find the cause and people hang by their toenails because of errors made. The customer is also allowed to renegotiate to recoup any cost for delays. I am not asking for this but do expect response from the dealer to let me know the status of my machine. My big issue was I had a large landscaping project starting on Tuesday and my JD was returned on Monday. This could have been a $1000 hit without a tractor.

I have every right to be upset and I could have been a real pain in the *****. I was very patient waiting over 3 weeks for delivery of my tractor. If you had a new car that you spent over 23K for, and it broke down on the way home from the dealer, and then no one contacts you for 3 days to tell you what was wrong with it, tell me you wouldn't be calling someone?
