I called my dealer today, and told him to put a 2320 in the mail for me..

While I was at one of the dealers, I sat on one and noticed the Hydro Pedals are higher than I would like (I'm 6'3".) even with the set all the way back. I was wondering if there is any adjustment in them or not.. Has anyone figured out how to make the set go back a little more??

Thanks,
P.

Wow going out on a limb a bit here but I went out to look at mine and it does look like they could be moved either toward the front of the tractor a bit (about an inch), or down toward the ground. The pedals are on fixed length rods so they could be changed by welding a spacer in the rod or:

If you moved the pedals toward the front of the tractor you would have to drill new mounting holes in the plastic floorboard the pedals sit in. You would also have to either make the slots the pedals fit in a little longer or limit the movement to about an inch.

If you wanted to move the pedals down towards the ground then just a spacer clock between the pedal mounting bracket and the plastic floorboard would work. If you did this though your hydraulics would be lower, not a good thing.

Another possibility might be to move the seat mounting. On mine at least I have slightly over an inch between the back of the seat and the back of the well the seat sits in when the seat is all the way back.

Warranty and safety are the two issues here. You would really have to look at this carefully and see what the drawbacks of any move are.

Let us know what you do. I'm six one and don't have a problem, just keep the seat all the way back. My son is six four though and he might need some sort of adjustment.

Argh, I hate it when I have to edit a post. If I did not make it clear (I left off a sentence in the above) There is no factory adjustment that I can see. The adjustments I talked about above are just suggestions that look like they could work.

Thanks for your help, and ideas.. I'm going to have to wait till it comes in, and take a look at it.. All I need is about an inch or two, and it would be fine.. My right leg is a little bunched up when operating the pedals, and I'm afraid that would hamper my use of the loader stick... Ultimately it would be ideal if I could just slide the set back another inch or so..

Before I bought I looked at other colors of tractors, and the green one is by far the best at operator comfort if your taller. The NH is by far the worst, there is absolutely no way I could operate that tractor for any length of time... Its like driving a clown car..
