2010 JD 2320
Funny how it came about, really.

Had my mind set on a used tractor and FEL. I'm really cheap.

The 0% financing offers from all the manufacturers had gotten my attention though. I had actually settled on a new Kioti CK20 based on recommendations both from the web and personal acquaintances.

Last Thursday I am up late surfing for tractor data, and I notice that the promo's end April 30th. Casually glance at the calendar and realize it is April 29th. Dang.

Next morning I'm burning up the phone. The local Kioti dealer doesn't carry them anymore and now sells Bobcat. OK, well, Bobcat has a good rep, so what's the price? $14,500.

Hmm. For some silly reason I was expecting to get in a tractor for about 10K. That's what my personal acquaintance had paid for his CK20 a mere 2 or 3 years ago. Apparently times have changed. Maybe bobcat is just high? Let's find a Kioti dealer and price a CK20...

At this point there is only one Kioti dealer left in the state, and it's about 2 hours away. Buying a Kioti is out of the question because of logistical issues of the one dealer being 2 hours away. Called them anyways to price the CK20. $14,500.

Hmm. Now I am a John Deere fan, and there is a dealer about 10 miles from the house. Bought an LT150 mower from them in 04. It was more expensive than comparable models. Hadn't even talked to them yet because I assumed that I would be paying several thousand more for a comparable machine.

What the ****. Called 'em up and priced the 2320 which, by the way, has 2-4 more horsepower than comparable models. $14,800 w/ 200cx loader.

So let me get this right...I can get the cream of tractor manufacturer's comparable machine, with a dealer right down the road, for $300 more?

Why wouldn't I get a JD at this point??

Took the rest of the day off and showed up around 2pm, but was informed the 0% financing was only for 36 mos which kind of hosed me up for a moment with the higher payment. (I swear the JD site showed 48 mos, when I got home the offer was no longer on the website, so no way to confirm) Thought about it for a minute and decided to put some money down on it to reduce the payment to something I could swallow. Wasn't planning on putting any money down as there is no point with 0% financing. Whatcha gonna do...? :)

Now I just need to survive the next 7-10 days. My wife may very well kill me as a result of me running my dang mouth about tractors.
I gotta find a distraction.

Yes, congrats on your new 2320. I'm still waiting on mine - ordered it 3/30. Delivery date 5/25.

I was told the same thing about 0% 36, even though the JD site clearly said 0% 48.

After confirming it on the website, I called the dealer back about it. He said, ok, I can give you 0% for 48, but it's gonna cost him $400 to do it. Talk about hosing....so I said You mean to tell me you are gonna go $400 more than your original quote. He said, naw, let's split it. I didn't like that at all, but like you said, What do you do?

However, when I came in to place the order, he said he found another "program" that would allow him to go 0% 48 with no additional cost to me, so my additional $200 was knocked off.

Hope you enjoy it!
