New 2710 W/backhoe

Well, thanks to all the great info from this forum, I took the plunge and took delivery yesterday of my B2710 w/ 751 Great Bend backhoe. I had the dealer attach a Rankin thumb. I'll add a few pictures of it to follow. I put about 30 minutes on but my wife put on about 4 hours in landscaping jobs. Everytime I turn around, she's on it. Thats the price I pay for her letting me get it.

Here is the thumb in the extended position. It has two extended positions and folds up out of the way when not in use. I think it will come in handy when I start that rock wall project.

Here is the thumb and bucket at work. The tree is a 7' alder thunk. No match for the hoe but something to give an idea of how it works.

Nice setup. You'll love that thumb! I've got one and LOVE it! Works great on rocks. Also works well if you got a small brush pile just grab the pile pick it up and drive away to the burn pile. Does your thumb have two angles or is it just open and closed? Also were do you store your "bar" for the thumb. Looks great. Best of luck.
