New 3005 owner wheel question?

Hi Just took delivery of my new 3005 today! Tractor looks good and dealer installed the r4 tires I wanted but the front wheels look different than a tractor I looked at. The centers look flatter and not as dished. Do you guys know if they had a few styles? I suffered a stroke a couple weeks ago so I go looking through dealerships right now. Thanks

The fronts are probably mounted in the narrow position, or with the flat side out. If you take them off spin them around and swap sides you can mount them with the dish out. It will give you a wider front wheel stance.

My 1 year old 790 is one of the last ones made before John Deere changed the numbers to the 3005. It has R4 tires with the rims mounted in the wide position. Here is a couple photo. Hope you enjoy that new tractor.

Thanks for the pictures! The wheels on your tractor look like what I saw. The center contacts the outer rim at 4 spots, the centers on my rims are solid and contact outer rim all the way around. They must have used different venders for wheels. Thank you

Never noticed it before. I had always thought the wheels that contact the center all the way around were for R-1 tires and the wheels welded in 4 spots were for R-4's. Got to looking a several pics of 790's and 3005's . It appears R-1's and R-4's can be mounted on either rim. Guess JD does use different suppliers? Does it mater which tire and wheel combination is used?
