Tractor
Branson 3510
Just bought my first tractor, a Branson 3510 with FEL, backhoe, mower, box blade and auger - just retired engineer moving to some lake property in Florida on 19 Dec. The tractor is sitting at the dealer waiting for me. I ran across this forum looking for tractor info and now spend a little ("a lot") of time on it now. I have learned a lot, just can't wait to experience it first hand. I have been driving my dealer crazy with questions - I'm sure he will be glad when he makes the delivery!

Congratulations on your new purchase! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif And welcome to TBN.

By the way you worded your post, I'm guessing that you haven't moved to your Florida property yet. Where are you moving from? Is your dealer close to your new location? If he is, then drive him a little more crazy and have him take some pictures for you that you can post. Of course, we'll also expect a bunch of action pictures once you get there! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Looking forward to your future contributions to TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Making the BIG move from sunny California (Simi Valley) to Lake Wales Florida (Central FL) - My wife and I just retired and will be living in a fifth wheel while building the house on 10 acres. Bringing our five dogs, cat and 24 parrots - should be an interesting trip. My dealer is about two hours away (Ocala - Caldwell Tractor) - visited him when I was there getting building permits, installing a temporary power pole, etc. Very nice man - had a really good stock of tractors, plus a nice shop. Just waiting until my younger son gets out of college for Christmas, so he can help us move. Thanks for the welcome

WOW! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

That is a big move. And you're going to live in a 5th wheel with 5 dogs, a cat, 24 parrots, AND a 3510!?

Boy, are you brave!!

I'll be retiring next July, and the wife and I are looking at getting a Class A motorhome and doing some traveling. Maybe we'll be able to swing down through that area and see if you survived. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congratulations...

First on making it to retirement second on your tractor.
I have a 43 HP Century/Zetor (sister to yours). Its only got 20 hours on it so I'm learning also, never had so much fun either!

There arent alot of Zetor/Branson people here but enough. Feel free to ask your questions here, it's a good crew on this board, no real attitudes.

take care

Birdguy, sounds like quite a way to kick off the retirement....getting a new tractor and new place to putter around with it at the same time. You will have a blast with it, let me assure you. You must promise us that you post some pictures of you on the tractor from the first day it arrives. We all like to share in that moment...it is much like Christmas for grown-ups. There are several of us Branson owners out here...but too busy lately using our tractors to post much....either that or we are off deer hunting. Welcome , and keep us posted on your new adventure.

Congratulations on the new tractor and welcome to the board.
You will find someone on here has an answer for about any questions that arise. You don't say if you have enjoyed the country life before, but if not you can find no better life to retire to.
I get the feeling I don't have to tell you that though.
Good luck with the 3510.
