New 3520 or used Kubota l3540

So here is my situation. I am trying to decide on a new deere 3520 open station with 300cx or a used Kubota l3540 with cab and 100 hours on the meter. Both priced at 26k.

Opinions please.

100 hours is nothing for either brand as long as it was treated okay. Service records for the Kub i.e. the 50 hour? Kubota also seems a little larger. Unless you don't want/need a cab, I would go with the Kub. But I don't think you can select a bad one with that choice.

No question in my mind at least, can't beat a cab and as mentioned 100 hours is nothing on a tractor, I also really and I mean really like the HST+.

Nothing against the John Deere.

Depending on the intended usage, I would have to think a 300CX FEL would be more useful than a cab with AC. Unless you plan on only driving the tractor around in the Arizona summer or Minnesota winter.

Both good tractors, but you're getting a lot more for your money with the Kubota because of the cab. There aren't many compact tractor engine/transmission setups equal to the Yanmar/e-hydro combination offered by Deere, but the Kubota diesel/HST+ drivetrain is just about the best there is at the present time, so you can't lose either way regarding the tractor itself. But it's your money... go buy the one you like and enjoy it. Life's too short for second thoughts because you listened to someone else's advice instead of your own instincts.

Does the L3540 come with a FEL? If so, I'd definitely choose the Kubota. If not, I'd either choose the Deere or keep looking.

The Kubota has the LA724 loader. I have 15 acres with woods. I will be brush hogging, fel work, snow removal, driveway maintance, chipper...

I am trading a Deere 2520 now with 20 hours on it. Waiting on price.

If you are going into the woods a lot the cab may not be such a benefit unless you've made good trails.
