JD 3720 cab
Ok here's the deal... I ordered a 3320, with the same options added below, wether the 3320 or the 3720, in mid December and after a month of no show tractor I (and the wife;)) changed our minds and ordered a 3720 with factory cab, 3rd SCV, 300 CX loader, R4 treads, front mount 59" snowblower, and TNT kit.... I must add... that the original 3320 to this day is still NOT on on dealers lot! Deere has dropped the ball on this for reasons I still don't get answers or understand:confused:

Well that was on Jan 10th I believe that the order was changed... fast forward to today... and believe me it's been a looooong froookin wait the last 2.5 months for anything to get done, (my dealer is a waste of skin and time I have descided!!!)

My 3720 arrived at dealer shop on Monday or Tues... Not sure as dealer would NOT return e-mails or calls all week), anywho.... they got parts today to install the mid PTO and as of yesterday.. the tractor was to be delivered today or possibly tomorrow.... As my luck would have it..... no dice.. Maybe get my new baby on Monday IF... and I stress IF... they get their ducks in a row and get it done.

Sorry for the long winded post... but it has been a LONG 2.5months to get answers and such... and now I get to wait another long weekend knowing my baby is sitting only 30 miles away.

Thanks for letting me vent!! I feel better now:thumbsup:

Good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue. ;) You will still have some snow days remaining. At least you can go see it if you want.

If it's on the lot the dealer is close to getting their $$s so I'll bet you they are motivated. Hope it goes well, take some pictures when it shows up. Congrats on the purchase!

Its undestandable that the dealer may not get your options installed for few days...... afterall, lets hope their shop is busy enough to be scheduling work out a few days.

On the other hand........ the lack of communication from your dealer is a very bad sign of things to come. :(

Let's hope that they can easily do the installations and get them correct.

I hope you never need service from that dealer. I can see more storys in your future.

The dealership itself really isn't the issue, it's the sales guy. This is same dealership I got my 3203 from and have had no issues or problems in almost 3 yrs. The guy that sold me the 3203 has moved to another dealership unfortunately.
As far as the parts being installed correctly... I know they will be done properly as the shop manager is my cousins husband and he KNOWS his stuff!!!

Just driving me nuts sitting here waiting and not being able to start install of radio, front/rear lights, rear wiper, and wanting to build chain bucket and few other custom touches. Oh well.... might just have to hop on the snowmobile for the day.

Never a problem if you buy a tractor currently on the lot, but when you order you're at the mercy of the manufacturing process (I doubt if Deere or Yanmar keep much finished goods inventory at their facilities).
I'd also guess there is a high demand on these machines considering the weather we have had this year.
I know it's a drag waiting and I'm sure jjmarotz is chomping at the bit, but this isn't the automotive industry we're talking about here...different pace altogether.

You know, I went to the New Holland manufacturing facility a few years back (job interview) in New Holland, PA. There were acres and acres of tractors and such (proverbial sea of blue). The escort told me those machines were all sold and waiting to be shipped out. That's the kind of thing jjmarotz is experiencing, I'd say.
