New 4020 info

The first thing I noticed about the new 4720 is that is looked like the 100 series lawn tractors. 

I see a trend there. I have been learning about LG Diesels for a close in mower and noticed how similiar the 455 is to the 4x10s

That does look similar. And from reading another thread where JD uses the same model numbers for other machines, I wonder what JD is doing. Reusing model numbers and using similar designs, hmm...

Regarding the model number, the most recent instance I can think of is, while doing a search for the JD 4710 CUT, I got lots of results for the JD 4710 sprayer. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

As I have been leaning towards the 4710 I talked with my dealer today to see what he knew about the 4720. He said not much yet but that he is headed to Atlanta this week for a chance to see the machines and get in line for a few. He did hear that the HP would be up to 58 with the deere engine. So...I am definitely waiting to find out more. I like the increased HP. He is to email me with an update and I will pass it along.

I really like the new design! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif As nice as they look, does anyone know any of the stats yet on the new machines? Unless I missed the post, so far all I have seen are a couple pictures. I sure would like to know what the new green is packing underneath! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

They look pretty good and very similar hood design to a 7920 ag tractor. Same style front and everything. I noticed the lights on the ROPS is like the 4010 series as are the rear fenders. In my opinion I like the looks of the current series a little more. Now my 990 really looks outdated! Time to trade in for a little bigger machine like a 4720! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
