New 4052R finally arrived, has to be one of the first!

I looked at a new 4R at the local fair, and I noticed the 3 point stuff was all different, but it didn't jump out at me as heavier duty. I suppose it might be a different story looking at them side by side. I've never heard of a problem with the 4x20 3 point.
I wouldn't see much point on increasing the capacity beyond 2500 lbs on a 4000 pound tractor. I guess society lives and dies by the specs printed in the brochures.
I like the all green look of the 4R's, but the tier 4 stinks.

The 2016 model has a plastic flat top only hood. Sides and front grille have to be removed separately. Couple of bolts and the rest is sliding pins. Front grille is a good size and seems the air intake is well sealed meaning that for the most part cleaning of the cooling fins is not a constant chore. However, when you are really in thick stuff and they get clogged up, it does take a bit to open things up and get to them. Neighbor just learned that....mowing a pasture that hasn't been mowed in 30 years......but once it's all whacked down, it won't be the continuing problem it is at this time......and the MX6 is operating flawlessly.

Folks with a 4052 or any 40 series tractor from JD and have had it out and working. Please let us know how its working for you.

I bought my 4052R used. Well it's a 2014 model but only had 4.4 hours on it. Bought it private Dec of 2016. I bought it for moving snow and moving pallets around. I really do love it. I was unsure. I went from a JD 4450 farm tractor with 160 horse and a loader that could lift 4600 pounds to a JD 4052R and 180 loader. It is just so handy and quick. I have 28 hours on it already. Words cannot describe how impressed I am with it.

Nope. I sold her. Figured with the greed with farming and nobody seemed to want to help one get started I thought I would downsize and concentrate on my main job.
