2020 JD4066R, Cub Cadet GT2042, JDZ355E, and more Stihl products than I really need!
I traded in my Kioti today on a new 4066R open station today. I get it next week. I added the remote for the grapple, a diverted and 3rd function in the rear with a top and tilt kit..... as well as a new rotary cutter, tiller and rake.

A bit of buyers remorse due to money, just a lot of coin... but being on a machine on our properties is one of my passions, might as well do it in style!

I agree it is a nice tractor. Looked at it hard early this year with a cab. Really passed on it due to the doors and no side window on the cab. Bought a Kubota L6060 instead and honestly liked much of the JD better.

I went to Kioti and Kubota...

Im still waiting on the Kioti quote lol.... I made a follow up call.... this would be my 3rd purchase from them, and I asked for a price on a DK60 and a NX6010. He low balled me on my trade instantly but I didnt say a word... just email me the quotes so I can review. I made another follow up call yesterday to see where the quotes were, said still looking into it...

I went to Kubota dealer, he had the MX60 but not the Grand L60 which is what I wanted to look at, I get it.... when I asked for quotes on both he went out of his way to sell me the MX and said everything in the world to break my interest in the L.... as well, I live 15-20min’s away from dealer, but he lives 5min’s from me. He was going to come look at my trade, but called me this morning to have me text it instead, still no offer... and I was turned off by the laziness.

Yesterday I went to the 1 of 2 JD dealers within 15min’s. We talked a bit, he gave me an initial number, then drove out to the house and reviewed everything I had to trade in (tractor, implements and subframe backhoe). This morning he emailed me the total quote.

I printed that out, went to the other jd dealer with the #’s blacked out, handed him the build sheet... he verbally gave me a number that was a hair higher, and then came out to the house to review everything. He said he’d get back to me soon.... this is a coporate dealership, not a mom n pop like the first dealer.....

I then went back to my office and thought about how JD dealer #2 always struggles to get me the right belts for my jd 0 turn, and my dads had a few issues with them servicing his 1023 and 0 turn......

I was going to call Kioti dealer to see the status of the quotes.... but said F it... mom n pop JD dealer followed thru and I could tell they wanted my business... I drove over this afternoon, worked on him a bit and got another $1k shaved off and shook hands......

Thats the way it should be. Im just wondering if my Kioti dealer is even going to get me a quote? Lol..... when I have a customer thats spent good $$ in my store before, and comes back in trying to spend even more, they shouldnt be haggling the salesman who’s also the owner.

I was kind of in the same boat. I had a Kubota L5030 cab. Good tractor but it had A/C issues for a few years with nobody able to fix them. I started looking for good used tractors, but I couldn’t find much. When I did, they wanted almost new prices. So I started shopping new.

I visited Kubota, JD, Kioti, LS, Massey, Case, and New Holland dealers...and several dealers of the same brand. They are all within 45 mins or so of me. I was amazed how some couldn’t care less that I walked through their door. After driving most of them (most dealers were really low on inventory), I settled on the JD. I was looking at the 4052R, but the dealer made me a deal on a 4066R. I got it with loader, 2 remotes and a third function, and I really like it so far. I’ve had it about a month with about 25 hours on it.

Here’s the things I’m not wild about. Most importantly, I’m not crazy about the joystick handle. Their ergonomic design fits my hand well, but it hits my remote lever when trying to raise and dump. I’ll have to find a solution to that problem. The 3 point lever is small and takes some getting used to. It’s probably small because of the joystick design. There’s no easy place to put a toolbox either. I don’t need much, but I like to carry a few things with me. It came with a quick hitch that was useless for me because of the varying size of attachments I have, so it has a Pat’s system on it now. And the radio isn’t great. You’d think for that amount of money they’d have more than 2 crappy speakers.

I love the auto throttle, and it has good power to the ground. So far, I’m pretty satisfied. And I love having cold air in this southeast MO hear and humidity!!

I bought a new kioti nx6010 last fall due to the simple fact it was considerably less expensive. Will spare u the details, but I sold the nx6010 in May and bought a used JD 4720. Everyone has their own preference / opinion in tractor manufacturers, but my opinion is nothing is better than Deere in this size tractor. I love the 4720 cab, already had an open station 4720. I am not implying that the kioti isn’t a good tractor, but I personally think you made the best choice.
