New 4110

Just took delivery of my new JD 4110 with BH RD60 finish mower. Prior to delivery they had to put about 200 lb of wieght in the front to balance it out. Even now when I raise the mower too fast it almost takes the wheels off the ground.
Is this mower too much for this tractor?

No. Most compact tractors without FEL will require front end weights with a rear mower. It sounds as if you may need a little more front end weight. With my old B7100 I usually added about 150lbs without FEL.

I put 165 pounds on the nose of my B-7500 to counter balance my Woods RD 6000. The tractor handles the mower just fine and if memory serves your tractor is the same HP and PTO HP as mine. Good luck have fun and enjoy that new tractor./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
