I'll sure let you know. Land clearing is what I got mine for also. I use my Dad's MF 1040 for bush hogging, disking, and etc. It had no problem digging up the stumps, and the grapple handled them just fine. One thing I did notice, it's a thirsty tractor. But, the only thing I have to compare it to is a 22hp Massey Ferguson with a 7 gallon tank. This one is 44hp and has a 17 gallon tank. I didn't buy it based on fuel consumption though, so I really shouldn't complain. So far, I'm pleased.
